There were the chrome lamps rescued from an abandoned Chicago hotel, the geometric brooches discovered in a tiny shop in Lisbon, the mirror-framed clocks from a Havana estate that felt touched by the tropics.
“Objects remember,” Rachid liked to say with a knowing smile. “I just help them travel to their next chapter.”
Customers adored him for that. People came to Curiosahal searching for something special, something with a soul. And they left with not just an object, but a piece of history wrapped in silk paper—and a memory of Rachid’s warm storytelling lingering in their minds.
